The Police Chaplain Unit is comprised of clergy members who donate their time to be on call 24 hours a day. The primary roll of the on-call chaplain is to respond to incidents when requested to provide emotional or spiritual support to victims, witnesses, and family members. Chaplains also provide support and counseling to emergency responders when needed.
