No, Derby does no add fluoride to the water. The City of Wichita, who provides our water, does not add fluoride. However, there is a small amount of fluoride naturally present in the water.
The City of Derby tests a minimum of 25 samples per month in accordance with the Total Coliform Rule for microbiological contaminants. The results of those tests are put in a report called the CCR (consumer confidence report). It can be found on our website at www.derbyks.com/waterreport. A paper copy is available at City Hall and Public Works.
