High Park is Derby's largest park located on the east side of the city. The park has more than two miles of Hike and Bike Path, two sand volleyball courts, an enclosed shelter (70' x 30' with a fireplace and picnic tables) and open shelter (40' x 30' with picnic tables), amphitheater, gazebo, soccer fields, baseball/softball complex, two playgrounds, fishing and more. Both shelters have playgrounds nearby.
The City of Derby owns all city parks, but the Derby Recreation Commission is responsible for coordinating and facilitating park facility rentals. Call the DRC at 316-788-3781 or visit the DRC at 801 E. Market to reserve your park or facility of choice today.
